ESSENTIAL job functions may include:

Within the first 30 days:

§  Already know the basics keeping the floor organized by frequently sweeping floors, emptying scrap bins and removing packing materials as incoming materials are received

§  Participate in weekly meetings, build knowledge and apply safe work methods when operating machinery or lifting and remains accident free

§  Help unload trucks and move materials to proper stock locations, including verifying actual materials received against receiving paperwork

§  Accompany drivers on jobsite deliveries and knowing how to properly spread materials on the jobsites

From 3-6 months:

§  Work independently or \on a team to efficiently assist with loading and unloading materials

§  Proficiently assist receiving clerk with incoming materials

§  Receive forklift training and certification to start operating forklift truck

§  Ensure all designated working areas are maintained in an orderly manner and continuously maintained free of trash and debris

§  Understand our process for receiving and shipping material to jobsites

By 9 months and ongoing:

·         Develop product knowledge of industry materials handled in the warehouse

·         Assist in other areas of productions such as shelf & pole, hardware, and house packing

EDUCATION, SKILL, EXPERIENCE:

-  Must be at least 18 years old

-  High School Diploma or GED is a plus, but not required

-  Basic math skills including adding, subtracting, multiplication and division, calculating square footage of materials
